About Milo & Curtis
Phil Clackler and Andrew Stark— Milo & Curtis, respectively— are LA-based filmmakers who have been collaborating for 4+ years. Their like-minded approach to filmmaking and storytelling united them from their first project and has set the tone for their partnership. Phil and Andrew have one hard rule regarding their collaboration: “the best idea wins.” Whether creating a commercial or narrative piece, they strive to tell the most compelling and well-crafted story possible.
Philip “Milo” Clackler
Originally from Palo Cedro, Phil has spent the last 8 years between LA and Orange County honing his skillset in both cinematography and 3D animation. His mastery of lighting and camera movement has set the tone for over 200 creative projects to date, ranging from feature films to brand videos. Phil has experience creating incredible work within limited time and budget constraints and has never sacrificed on the quality of his art. He is one of the most experienced and talented young DPs in the industry today.
Andrew “Curtis” Stark
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Andrew developed a love of storytelling a young age. Though he began his career as an actor, he later attended film school and discovered his passion for crafting stories from behind the camera. He has now been in the film industry for 20 years and has continued to invest himself in projects that challenge him as a director and storyteller. A writer and director for both stage and screen, Andrew has developed a keen understanding of the requirements to create fun, engaging, and powerful stories.
